Our Homes.

These are detached and semi detached properties offering flexible accommodation arranged over three floors with Room equipped with high quality furniture. Each person will have their own bedroom which they are encouraged to personalise to their own taste. There are communal rooms providing a range of activities for all service users. We have an office and sleep in facilities to enable 24 hour cover and emergency support where the tenant’s support plan identifies such needs. Our houses are an ideal ‘Stepping stone’ for tenants living at the house to develop their skills and where suitable work towards moving into their own flats.

Stone Independent Living Ltd

Stepping Stone Independent Living Ltd (SSILL) is a company which was founded in 2007 by the Hussain Family, to provide Supported Living. we have grown since then and now has services based in Birmingham and Leicester. We hope to keep growing.

SSILL is run by Mr Arif Hussain and Mr Tan Hussain. They are the Directors of the company, with a manager for each of its sites. These are known as the “Registered” or “Service” Managers. Our team of staff to help and support you. These are known as; "Senior Support Workers", “Support Workers” or “Care Support Workers”

Stepping Stone Independent Living Ltd is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide personal care.

We provides services for;

  • Adults with Learning Disabilities

  • Adults with Mental Health Diagnosis’s

  • Adults with Autism

  • Adults with Challenging Behaviour

 

We specialise in providing high quality of care and support to the people we support.

 

Our Services

Stepping Stone is an open, positive and inclusive organisation. We offer a range of tailored support solutions including: Supported Living, Domiciliary Care and Residential care. We are able to source appropriate accommodation to suit the needs of our Service Users where required. Alternatively, we offer support to clients in their own homes.

Admission Criteria

This comprehensive assessment includes a home visit to the service user’s current place of residence.

Respite

Respite stays are available at Regis House and Clifton house, we support Adults with Learning disabilities and mental health conditions from the age 18-65.
